Notes: | Report of a journey to the city of Namangan, in the South of Usbekistan. This city has been the haven of many Jewish families evacuated during WWII. The author and his family lived there from 1956 to 1960. This journey in 1968, was a way to pay homage to a country,Usbekistan, to its people, its nature, its friendliness and wisdom. |
